The Results of HALF
I discovered something today that explains why I keep failing at what I am doing...or why I keep seeing myself fail at what I am doing. I put in only HALF. I am devoting half of my gifts and energies to the things I love and dream about. 1. My marriage.
~~If a miracle doesn't happen when I want it to, I give up....I will love and be sweet and nice and all that...butI want return right away..if I don't get it....I close down, I sleep, I forget about it.......until, I hear again what I should be doing. 2. My children.
~~I always beat myself up about where they are NOT....AND I'll tell you, the bible doesn't say anywhere that we should be our children's friends. We are just to raise them...etc etc...but I couldn't help to see my kids happy and loving and I wanted to enjoy that too..shoot, I was 18 when I started having kids; just trying to get myself together..you see, there's that half again...half grown, half educated at the time, half strong...etc 3. My businesses
~~I get an idea in my head and I run with it...I don't study it, learn it, see if it will work. I just know that it will because GOD is good. Well is not going to come through on some mess if I didn't use wisdom and spiritual discernment to get it together.....half again: half listening, half learning, HALF. 4. My life
~~My body is going through a mental health shut down. I only half listened to the Lord tell me to shut up some times, don't worry (because it is sin) and let HIM handle it. My migraines have increased in intensity. You see, as strong as I am or may be, there may be some things in my life where we are only putting in HALF the spiritual time. ...I can tell myself over and over that my life is not about me..the bible says its not all about me..but what I can do for others..I can't do anything for my marriage, my children, my businesses or my life, OR anybody if I don't have my mind together to hear HIM! I can't keep putting in HALF. It's all or nothing...and it's going to take committment to do that much.
